Conference finished

Conference has successfully concluded on Wednesday 5.2.2020. We would like to thank all participants, speakers, session chairs and program chairs that have made this conference possible. Images of the event are now available in the gallery.

Best paper and presentation awards

We are glad to announce recipients of two awards that were given for the best paper and for the best presentation.The award for the best paper was given to:

A new semi-supervised method improving optical flow on distant domains
Tomáš Novák, Jan Sochman, Jiri Matas

While the award for best presentation was given to:

MAGSAC++, a fast, reliable and accurate robust estimator
Dániel Baráth, Jiri Matas, Jana Noskova, Maksym Ivashechkin

Both recipients will also receive a small financial reward of 100 EUR. We congratulate all authors that contributed in making of those two papers.

Program announced

Conference program is now available. For more information see program page. Conference will start with the invited talk given by assist. prof. dr. Tatiana Tommasi titled Learning to Generalize with Self-Supervision. For more information on the talk see people page.

Social events

Since conference takes place in spas, free time on Monday and Tuesday is allocated for swimming as well. Do not forget to bring your swimsuit. On Tuesday we will also organize a guided tour of the Rogaška glasswork factory.

Paper decisions done, camera-ready submission and registrations open

Paper decisions

Review process has finished and paper decisions have been made. Authors should have already receive decision email. For more details on reviews of your paper login into CMT3. Congratulations to all the authors that will be presenting their work at the CVWW 2020.

Camera-ready submission open

Camera-ready submissions have also opened. Authors can submit their camera-ready paper through CMT3. Authors are advised to consider reviewer’s suggestions and recommendations in camera-ready papers if possible. The deadline for camera-ready submission is 22th January 2020.

Registrations open

Registrations are now open. Please, see registration page for more details. The deadline for registration is 22th January 2020 and registration fee must be paid before January, 24th 2020.

Note that, accepted paper will be published in workshop proceedings only if at least one author registers and presents their paper at the workshop.

Venue

Computer Vision Winter Workshop 2020 will take place in Rogaška Slatina, a town in eastern Slovenia, 50 km from Maribor and close to the border of the Croatia. The town is known for its curative mineral water, spa, and crystal glass.

The conference will take place in Grand Hotel Sava Rogaška, a part of the Rogaška Hotels & ROI Medico & Spa Group, that is located at the heart of a flower park. For more information on venue see here.
